A web browser is a software application that displays the content of websites.
The most popular browsers are Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Apple Safari.
How Does a Browser Work?
When you type a website name (URL) in your browser, your browser immediately send a request to your network. Your request travels through several servers on the internet to find and deliver the website content to you. The internet uses HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) to deliver text, images, and video to your browser.
